Best way to figure it out is open your world map and check every bank in every major city and look for mining spots close. Id say Tzhaar has a few rocks very close to a bank Yanille is very close Ardy is close also Mining guild in fally is nice to.
search. Closest... is a list of the closest lo ion or teleport to another lo ion. That includes banks furnaces anvils ranges altars farming patches and resources like rocks trees or fishing spots. All distances are measured in number of tiles using Chebyshev distance meaning an adjacent tile diagonal or straight is 1 distance.
The Mining Guild is the best spot for F2P coal mining and one of the best places in OSRS for mining in general. There are 37 coal rocks here. That’s the highest amount you’ll find in one lo ion in F2P. There’s also a conveniently lo ed bank right inside the guild which makes banking a piece of cake
The nearest bank is Shilo Village which requires the Shilo Village quest but players will have to walk in a huge semi-circle. Alternatively players can bank in Edgeville via an Amulet of glory run north to the Abyss in low-level Wilderness enter the Nature Rift exit the altar and lastly head a bit north-west to the mine.
The closest bank to this mining lo ion is in Draynor Village and it is a good little jaunt to get there. Still if you have a lower Mining level and aren’t a member it’s not that bad of a run especially if you can carry a full inventory of coal on every trip.
